Courtney Wright is a Chapel Hill mom and co-founder of Get Out Play. She was born in Texas, raised in North Carolina, and is a lover of all things barbecue. Courtney attended the University of North Carolina where she studied Global Studies and Women’s Studies. It was at UNC that she met her husband, Seth and upon graduation they decided to settle down in the blue heaven that is Chapel Hill. After a career in banking, Courtney decided to be a stay at home mom to their two-year-old son and will be welcoming a daughter in October. She enjoys exploring new museums, outdoor music and festivals with family, finding new restaurants, and navigating life with her husband, a train-loving, silly two-year-old (and soon, a newborn)! Most of all, she wants to help her family and others find ways to get out and play!

Michelle Bragassa is a local Chapel Hill mom and co-founder of Get Out. Play. She grew up in a unique, golf-cart riding suburb outside of Atlanta called Peachtree City. After high school, Michelle went on to study International Business and Spanish at the University of Georgia, followed up with a master’s degree in teaching at Augusta State University. While at Georgia, Michelle met her husband who, after graduation, went on to be a general dentist in the U.S. Air Force which allowed them the opportunity to live in California as well as South Carolina before heading to Chapel Hill. Prior to being a stay at home mom to the couple’s five year old triplets, Michelle was a high school mathematics and Spanish teacher. She loves teaching and hopes to one day return to it, but for now, she enjoys spending time outside hiking, biking, swimming and running as well as traveling and exploring new parks and trails in the triangle area and, all in all, just likes to get out and play!
